Why do we as humans let out selves fall in love, when in the end we wind up so painfully hurt? Nevermind don't answer that, I don't wanna know!!

I don't know how many of you may hate me after this, but I'm going to give it a shot at answering this...

We allow ourselves to fall in love even when we know that we will become hurt in ways that no one can ever describe, only feel, because of one thing. That One Moment. It may not last longer than a second, it may last a lifetime, no one knows how long the moment will last but it for that one moment that we allow ourselves to take a chance on life, even if it means that we will end up a crushed soul with a hardened heart.
For that one moment, everything is spectacular. Everything feels like a dream, your eyes are more open than they have ever been before. Everything feels alive and electric. There is no one else around you, even when you stand in the center of a crowd. For that one moment, the world is yours, and everything you've ever wanted stares back into your eyes.

To bask in that one moment of love, we are willing to accept an unspeakable pain.
